Colour pop your way into spring

It’s January the 2666666th! Well at least that what it feels like. I cannot wait for Spring! I am already seeing little shoots come up and I spotted some snow drops on a walk the other day. Beautiful!

To cheer myself up I have been using pops of colour in my spaces at home. This is an inexpensive way to bring some joy to a space without spending loads of money. Unless you want to of course:)

There are some great examples of coloured accessories around at the moment or if you are willing to thrift there are some great finds on ebay or Vinterior.

I believe that we shouldn’t buy something because we think it would “look good” in our space or it is on trend. We should buy something because we think it is beautiful to us. We need to be intentional about our purchases. We need to buy less and buy better.

One of my favourite retailers is Glassette. They champion small brands particularly those who offer hand made products or made to order.

I love all things vintage and Vinterior is amazing for all sorts of antique and retro finds to brighten up your space. This office lamp is a lovely example and probably going straight in my basket!

Finally, even a bunch of flowers can brighten up a day. Why not treat yourself to a new vase too…these are a couple of my favourites.
